Governing Body Members and Faculty

Dr. Pritpal Singh is a highly qualified technocrat presently associated with the Foundation as it's Director-Principal. He is also working as a Consultant with various National and International agencies/companies. He obtained two Ph.D degrees - first Doctorate in Chemical Technology/Medicinal Chemistry from Panjab University, Chandigarh followed by second Doctorate in Physical-Organic Chemistry from Loughborough University of Technology, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England. His field of research involved the scientific evaluation of newly designed/researched Chemical molecules as the precursors to understand the complexities of the brain tumor. Dr. Singh is a Member/Fellow of numerous well known scientific, medical and environmental societies of the World in the field of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Plant Design, Environmental Engineering and related technologies.

Mr. Balraj Singh Mejie is a well known industrialist. He is presently working as the Managing Director of an Industrial House dealing in Heavy Duty Electrical/Mechanical/Civil engineering design works. Mr. Mejie is a graduate engineer in Production Engineering followed by Master in Business Administration from England. He is a member/fellow of various National/International societies of Engineering Design.

Mr. Devinder Bir Singh Gill is a Chartered Accountant by profession and was employed by a State Government Undertaking as Sr. Deputy General Manager. Mr. Gill holds a Master Degree in Economics and is qualified Chartered Accountant. He has worked on various projects in terms of preparing and evaluating documentation in the field of financial assistance.

Dr. Brijender Singh Lal is a Medical Practitioner by profession and is presently practicing as Medical Officer at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Dr. Lal holds MBBS and MD degree in Medicines.

Prof. S.C. Jain is a retired Chairman from the Department of Chemical Engg. & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh after serving the University for forty years. Dr. Jain has published numerous publications on environmental studies and is an authority on Air and Water Pollution studies. 

Prof. Tilak Raj Bharadwaj is a highly acclaimed Pharmacist of International repute. He was Chairman, Department of Advance Pharmaceutical Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof. Bharadwaj is a well known educationist and has published numerous publications of original research on the development of newer molecules established as drugs. He has made tremendous contributions in the field of drug delivery systems pertaining to the existing drugs. He is a /fellow of numerous medical/scientific societies of the World.

Mrs. Dr. Surjit Kaur Sandhu retired as Director Health Services, Family Planning, Govt. of India,  New Delhi is actively involved in the up-liftment of the weaker section of the society particularly, the women and deprived sections of the society. Dr. Sandhu's creative activities have brought laurels to the society in educating and conducting the family planning and child Healthcare programs.

Faculty

Faculty comprised highly qualified people having expertise in empirical research related to field surveys, project formations, data base report writing, project proposals and synopsis, dissemination of data based results in form of publications. Faculty has academic background from education, health, science and social science areas. Besides, Foundation has field and administrative staff as well as appoints project-based or contractual persons for different activities. FDR also provide objective achievements in the field of building skills, enhancing awareness level, improving quality of life which also includes leadership building, skill and education level, environment promotion etc.
